Prehang Options for Hollander Glass Doors
Hollander mahogany and knotty alder doors are available as prehung units or as individual slabs.For prehung units the door or doors are mounted into door jambs by their hinges, and the unit includes all jambs, threshold, sidelights, transom, etc. The door lockset hardware is not provided in a "prehung entry" unless added as an option, but the mounting holes will be drilled for your lock if requested.
Prehung units include interior casing and brick mold, T-astragal, sill cover, door sweep, weatherstripping, and adjustable threshold. Prehung units are also available with or without subcasing. Your builder or remodeler may prefer to prehang your door using our matching jamb components. Please inquire for more information on these jamb components.
Jamb Size Options: Door frames are available in 4 5/8" or 6 5/8" standard widths, depending upon the thickness of the wall into which the door and frame is to be installed.
Custom jamb widths are available.
Standard Configurations: These doors are available in single or double configurations. Doors may be "left-hand" or "right-hand" opening. Custom configurations are available by request. (Select "Configurations" tab above to view sample configurations for this door).
Glass Panels: All beveled glass panels are available in clear or glue chip obscure glass and are double insulated for superior energy efficiency and added security.
Metal Caming: All glass panels are available with your choice of black patina or zinc finish metal caming.
Endura Z-Series Sills: All prehung doors use Endura brand adjustable composite Z-Series sills, which have been designed to solve the problems of wood sills. Our Endura sills utilize all-synthetic construction to prevent Water penetration, rot, warping, and discoloration.
Transoms and Sidelites: Most of our doors come with matching sidelites in 12" or 14" and matching transoms. You can custom order matching sidelites and transoms for any door that doesn't offer this as a standard option. Please click the "Transoms" tab above to view available transom options for this door.
