Wrought Iron Grilles for Strength, Security, and Beauty - Real Hand-made Wrought Iron Decorative Grilles Each wrought iron grille design series has been designed by our artisans, individually crafted by hand, and mounted to the door for beauty and security. The grilles have a double powder black coating to maximize the durability of the finish. Wrought Iron Sidelites A sidelite is that part of the decorative entryway on either side of a single door. These entry ways use matching wrought iron grilles on the sidelites to match the wrought iron in the door. Matching glass texture panels are used in these doors and sidelites. Optional operating grille hinges are supplied with each wrought iron grille. Grille hinges can be installed in minutes and allow the door or sidelite grilles to be hinge opened to clean the outside glass surface. The Portobello Series of doors and entryways offers the most extensive selection and options. Portobello 8 foot door and sidelite profiles are available in 8 foot tall height and 32", 36", or 42" wide sizes. Not all profiles are available in all sizes. Custom Sizes are available. Solid Construction - Portobello Doors feature 5 mm thick laminated, engineered stiles and rails to virtually eliminate warping. Plus extra wide stiles, wide raised moldings on the door exterior, and thicker raised door panels. Our Mahogany wood offers an open pore grain and a beautiful finish. Please note that mahogany, like all hardwood species, varies in color, graining, and appearance. This variance is one of the features of a real wood door! Optional Prehanging - These doors may be ordered individually, or assembled in matching mahogany jambs for both interior and exterior applications.
