Shipping Information


We ship all over the United States. Packing & shipping for your door assembly is no problem.

We use the highest quality crating techniques to insure your door is protected during the shipping process.

Information and Policies

Prior To Shipping:

All Orders require a 50% Deposit to begin fabrication of your Entry. In order to release for shipping, all orders must be paid in full including freight charges (based on size, weight, and destination).

Orders require a credit card on file for your balance due upon shipping.

Since we must pay for your door upon order, we cannot cancel any order for a door.


Packing and Freight Charges:

Crating charges are included in your estimate if entry is to be shipped.

Freight charges are Estimated at time of purchase. Freight charges can change depending on the price of fuel the day it ships.

Customers receive TCD freight discount when shipped.


Accepting Delivery:

Please have Help on site for the Delivery & to Inspect & Sign off in good order - At least 2 people

Important. Doors must be inspected for correctness, including handing (left or right hand swing), hardware finish choices, trim, etc., before signing off on and accepting delivery. Installed doors cannot be returned.

Any discrepancies would need to be reported to TCD before installing and within 7 days of receiving.

Note: Keep your crating intact until you have inspected your unit and you are absolutely sure everything is correct.

Customer Must take responsibility for Delivery with Plenty of Help & or Equip to Unload (Depending on size of Shipment)

Crated Entry Units are Very Heavy and sometimes need special equipment & or help with unloading.

Remember....We are a wholesale Door Company that Supply Contractors..Architects....Interior Designers in the field of construction. If you are a homeowner purchasing for your project.. You Must take Responsibility & Handle all and any delivery issues with the LTL Customer Service person assigned to your Local delivery .....

Note: TCD does NOT handle the Receiving end of the shipment, Shipments must be scheduled by the Customer & or Contractor with the delivering Freight company - The freight company will call you with a delivery appointment. Please note the Name of the Customer service person - Phone # when they call and the Freight ID#. The End customer Must take Responsibility & handle all and any delivery issues with the LTL Customer Service person assigned to your Local delivery .....

NOTE:
- Orders cannot be canceled for any reason after processing of Order & Fabrication has begun.
- Entries are built for your project specs with your personal choice of ...Style, Finish, Glass choice,
- Handing & Jamb requirements for your project and is considered Specific & Custom built for your project.
- Deposits are non-refundable

Customer Returned Entries will include Restocking fees of 30% of total Order + Return Freight charges deducted from any Credits due....If return is approved by Supplier..


Damages In Shipment:

All merchandise is securely packed and leaves our warehouse in good condition. We are not liable for damage or loss of merchandise once it has left our warehouse.

If shipment shows outside evidence of damage or you suspect damage:


 
  1. Do not alter the shipping container until the freight carrier has inspected them.
    • Note on Delivery ticket. "Damaged" To be inspected at later date.
    • Take pictures of damage for claim.

  2. Call trucking company to file claim immediately.

  3. Notify us.

  4. Shortages or damages must be reported within 2 days (48 hours).

  5. Do not return any merchandise to us without our prior authorization.

  6. Merchandise is fully insured by delivery company for 100% of value.
    Freight company will evaluate the damage & reimburse after investigation
    process.
